VACMASTERS
Vacuum Excavation Product Line
VACMASTERS
is the leader in Vacuum Excavation, so naturally, our line-up of
vacuum excavating equipment is the heart of our product line. Our
products will help you in locating utilities underground.
The VACMASTERS
SYSTEM 4000, SYSTEM 3000 and SYSTEM
1000 use high-pressure air to dig small holes to locate underground
utilities for maintenance (keyhole technology) or to determine
their exact location. The process is referred to as potholing.
These
air-vacuum systems may also be used to remove excess directional
boring slurry, or for a variety of other clean-out jobs, such as
valve boxes, catch basins, etc.
In
addition to our Air-Vacuum excavating equipment, our product line also
includes the SpoilVac mud vacuum system.
This
system is designed to quickly and easily remove excess drilling mud
or slurry created during the directional boring process. It
also performs a wide range of clean-up jobs such as valve boxes,
catch basins, and manways. Although primarily designed for clean-up,
the SpoilVac can also be used on a limited basis to locate buried
utilities using
an optional high pressure water system.
What's
the Difference?
Here's
the distinction between an Air-Vacuum Excavation System and a
directional boring mud vacuum:
Air-Vacuum
Excavation Systems
Designed
primarily for underground utility locating using high-pressure air.
These systems may also be used to remove slurry.
Directional
Boring Mud Vacuums
Designed
primarily to vacuum up mud but can also perform limited potholing
duties using high-pressure water only. |
